Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Cleverfolio handles information on the product hub at cleverfolio.me, and summarizes how suite products generally treat data. Each product may publish a more specific privacy notice on its own domain; if there is a conflict for that product, the product notice controls for that product.

Who we are
Cleverfolio is a suite of focused products operated by Cleverfolio (built by Abhijit Sood). SoftCraft Kids is branded SoftCraft World at softcraftworld.com and is listed in this catalog as part of the suite.
What this hub collects
The Cleverfolio hub is primarily a catalog, docs, and blog site. It does not require an account. Depending on how you use the hub, we may process:
- Essential storage — preferences such as theme and your cookie-consent choice (stored locally in your browser).
- Analytics (optional) — if you Accept analytics on the cookie banner, we load Plausible Analytics, a privacy-oriented analytics service. It helps us understand aggregate traffic (for example page views). We do not use it to build advertising profiles.
- Support messages — if you email us, we receive the content of your message and any contact details you include, so we can respond.
- Technical logs — standard web-server or hosting logs (such as IP address, user-agent, and request time) may be generated by our host for security and reliability.
Cookies & consent on this hub
Essential storage always stays on so the site can remember theme and consent. Analytics scripts load only after you Accept the cookie banner. You can Reject analytics, or clear your choice and reopen the banner via Cookie settings in the footer. See also our Terms of Service.
How we use information
We use hub and product information to:
- Operate, secure, and improve the hub and each product
- Respond to support and privacy requests
- Process subscriptions or usage billing where a product offers paid features
- Prevent abuse, fraud, and unlawful use
- Meet legal obligations
We do not sell personal information.
Product notes
Products process data needed to provide their features. Document, messaging, expense, portfolio, or learning content is handled only as required for the product you use.
Splitiva (splitiva.cleverfolio.me) — Local-first expense tracking. On Android, optional SMS parsing runs on your device — raw message text is never uploaded. Receipt OCR and insights also run on-device. Optional cloud sync uses end-to-end encryption. Contacts used for splits stay on device. Pdfello (pdfello.cleverfolio.me) — Online PDF tools with short retention by design. Files are processed to provide the feature you request and are not kept longer than needed for that job — guest-friendly use means files leave when the session ends. Account data, if you create one later, is used only to operate Pdfello. Contact [email protected] for deletion or access requests.
Folio (folio.cleverfolio.me) — Portfolio builder accounts may include name, email, profile image, and portfolio content you publish. Essential cookies support login and core features; analytics and notification technologies load only with consent. Folio does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Sendello (sendello.cleverfolio.me) — Invite-only WhatsApp messaging panel. We store account details, channel metadata, imported contacts, message/transaction history, and WhatsApp session auth needed to keep a linked number online. We do not sell contacts or message content. Administrators may review usage for support, billing, abuse prevention, and service health. Full details: Sendello Privacy Policy.
SoftCraft (softcraftworld.com) — SoftCraft Kids (softcraftworld.com) is for families with young readers. SoftCraft accounts are for parents/guardians; children play under household profiles. No child voice audio is stored. SoftCraft Pro status comes from Apple, Google, and RevenueCat — not full card numbers. SoftCraft may use coarse analytics when configured. Children’s privacy
SoftCraft Kids is directed to families with young children (roughly LKG / UKG / Grade 1). Parent or guardian action is required for SoftCraft sign-in and SoftCraft Pro purchases. SoftCraft does not offer child-managed Google or Apple sign-in, does not store children’s voice audio, and does not sell children’s personal information. See the SoftCraft Kids Privacy Policy.
Other Cleverfolio products (including this hub, Folio, Pdfello, Splitiva, and Sendello) are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 on those products. If you believe a child provided such information, contact [email protected] and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
Sharing
We share personal information only with service providers needed to run the hub or a product (for example hosting, analytics after consent, sign-in providers, app-store billing, or subscription status tools), when you direct us to (such as publishing a public Folio profile), or when required by law or to protect users and the service. We do not sell personal information.
Retention
Hub analytics (if enabled) is retained according to Plausible’s configuration for our site. Support emails are kept as long as needed to resolve your request and for ordinary business records. Product retention varies: for example Pdfello aims for short file retention; Splitiva keeps local data on your device unless you enable sync; SoftCraft keeps account and progress data while the account is active. You may request deletion as described below.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and similar laws), you may have the right to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection to certain processing, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. California residents may also have rights to know, delete, and opt out of “sale” or “sharing” of personal information — we do not sell personal information. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.
To exercise rights for any Cleverfolio product, email [email protected] (or the product-specific address above). We aim to respond within one month, or sooner where local law requires. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in your country.
International transfers
Cleverfolio products may be hosted or use processors in more than one country. Where we transfer personal information internationally, we take steps appropriate to the product and legal requirements (for example contractual protections with providers).
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the hub after an update means you acknowledge the revised policy.
